Ekovilla Smart X Pro
Ekovilla Smart X Pro is a mesh-reinforced vapour barrier membrane with variable water vapour resistance. This feature reduces the risk of moisture condensation inside the structures and improves the fault tolerance of structures compared to conventional vapour barrier plastic. The water vapour resistance of the Smart X membrane changes depending on the surrounding relative air humidity.
Smart X Pro is used as an internal air and vapour barrier for walls, ceilings andfloors insulated by fibrous insulation material. It is particularly designed to be used in applications where high strength performance and limited elongation are needed e.g. in cavity blowing.

Installation
Smart X Pro is quick and easy to install. It withstands handling without tearing due to its mesh reinforcement. Furthermore, the transparency of the fabric facilitates attachment to timber frame elements. The membrane is fixed by stapling at 200 mm intervals. The joints are overlapped 100—200 mm and joint durability is ensured by Ekovilla X Sealing tape.
