Ekovilla Smart X
Ekovilla Smart X is a vapour barrier membrane with variable water vapour diffusion resistance. This feature reduces the risk of moisture condensation inside the structures and improves the fault tolerance of structures compared to conventional vapour barrier plastic.
Smart X is used as internal air and vapour barrier for walls, ceilings and floors insulated by fibrous insulation material. Particularly suitable for insulation panels.

Installation
Ekovilla Smart X is quick and easy to install. It withstands handling without tearing and can be installed even to difficult locations owing to its flexibility. Furthermore, the transparency of the fabric facilitates attachment to timber frame elements. The membrane is fixed by stapling at 200 mm intervals. The joints are overlapped 100-200 mm and joint durability is ensured by Ekovilla X Sealing tape.
